The hard part
Putting them on should not be a workout
Compression works because it is snug at the ankle, which is exactly the part you have to stretch over your heel. With stiff hands or a sore back, that can mean giving up on them altogether. There are two easier ways.
Zip them on
Zipper socks open along the side. Sit down, step in, zip up from the ankle. A soft guard keeps the teeth off your skin.
Step into them
A frame donner holds a pull-on sock open while you step in, and grip gloves let you smooth it up with flat palms.

Questions we hear most
Which compression socks should I start with?
Most people start with a moderate (15-20 mmHg) knee-high. If your hands are stiff or bending is hard, choose a zipper sock. If your calves are wide, look at our sizes up to 7XL. If your doctor suggested firmer support, choose a firm sock (ours are rated 23-32 mmHg).
How do I know my size?
Measure the widest part of your calf in the morning, sitting with your foot flat. Our sizing guide shows how, each product page has a size finder, and you can email us your measurements for a personal answer.
What if they do not fit or I do not like them?
Tell us within 90 days of delivery. We send the right size or refund you, even if you have worn them (you pay to ship them back). We refund your original payment method within 2 business days of your return arriving. Your bank may take 5 to 10 days to show it.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive in 8 to 15 business days, with tracking. Shipping is free on orders over $90.
Are compression socks safe for me?
For most people, yes. Check with your doctor first if you have peripheral artery disease, heart failure, fragile skin or open sores, or reduced feeling in your feet. New or one-sided swelling needs a doctor, not a sock.
Still not sure? Email contact@compressionhouse.com with your measurements and what is bothering you, and we will suggest the right thing.
