Quick answers
Does the zipper rub or pinch?
A soft strip of the same knit fabric sits behind the zipper, so the teeth rest on fabric, not on your skin. Fold it flat as you zip up.
How do I choose my size?
Measure the widest part of your calf in the morning, sitting with your foot flat. M is 8-11 inches, L 11-13, XL 13-16, 2XL 16-18 and 3XL 18-20. Between sizes, choose the larger one.
Can I wear them to bed?
Most people take compression off at bedtime. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, wear them during the day.
A brand we carry
Why people choose these
ZipperSocks are knee-high graduated compression socks with a full-length side zipper. You sit down, open the sock, slide your foot in and zip up from the ankle. A soft strip of knit sits behind the teeth, so you feel fabric, not metal.
ZipperSocks is a brand we carry because it solves the hardest part of compression for many older adults: getting it on.
Good for
- Stiff, sore or arthritic hands
- A back or hips that do not like bending
- Tired, achy legs and minor swelling by the afternoon
- Anyone helping a parent dress
How to put them on
Unzip it fully
Sit down and open the zipper all the way to the ankle.
Step in
Slide your toes in and settle your heel into the heel pocket.
Zip up from the ankle
Fold the soft guard flat behind the teeth, hold the edges together and zip up in short moves.

Compression wear is not right for everyone. If you have peripheral artery disease, heart failure, fragile skin, open sores or reduced feeling in your feet, talk to your doctor before wearing it. New, painful or one-sided swelling needs a doctor, not a sock.
