From our house
Why people choose these
A firmer knee-high with the same easy side zipper. Firm socks are the hardest to pull on, which is exactly when a zipper helps most.
The maker rates it in the European class 23-32 mmHg; we describe it as the 20-30 mmHg class, the firm level many doctors suggest. Ask your doctor whether firm compression is right for you.
Good for
- People whose doctor suggested firmer compression
- Stiff hands that cannot pull a firm sock on
- Long days on your feet
- Travellers who want firmer support
How to put them on
Unzip it fully
Sit down and open the zipper all the way to the ankle.
Step in
Slide your toes in and settle your heel into the heel pocket.
Zip up from the ankle
Fold the soft guard flat behind the teeth, hold the edges together and zip up in short moves.

Compression wear is not right for everyone. If you have peripheral artery disease, heart failure, fragile skin, open sores or reduced feeling in your feet, talk to your doctor before wearing it. New, painful or one-sided swelling needs a doctor, not a sock.
